Our week begins each Sunday with worship and prayer.
We regard our Sunday morning services to be a time of celebration of the
goodness of God as well as a preparation for the week ahead.
Worship and prayer have always been the central focus of Jubilee, and from
this flows our preparation for practical Christian living.
Typically our weekly service includes these elements:
- Songs of worship, in a contemporary style.
- Communion, led by members of the church with a message based on the
significance of the Lord’s Supper.
- Preaching, usually by Pastors Ray or Lyn or a visiting minister. Our
preaching is always Bible based and relevant.
- Children’s ministry, with exciting activities and Bible stories.
- Prayer ministry, often in response to the message preached. We pray for
people’s needs, physical, emotional and spiritual.
- Healing ministry. On the last Sunday of each month we have our Healing
Service in which we teach on healing and pray for the sick.
- Fellowship. Each Sunday we have a time of fellowship around a cup of tea
or coffee.
